The Compass Sport is the only model which gives you the option of a front-wheel-drive 4×2 drive system or an all-wheel-drive 4×4 drive system and comes equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All the higher trims come with a standard Jeep Active Drive 4×4 system and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Apart from the impressive engine specs, the 2022 Jeep Compass comes with plenty of off-road-centric features. These include an AWD or off-road-tuned suspension and Select-Terrain® Traction Management system with available Rock mode.
