2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee vs 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Engine and Performance

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the bestselling full-size SUV and the most awarded SUV in North America and therefore it offers 11 models for you to choose from. They are:

All 11 trims come with Quadra-Trac all-wheel-drive system, and while the first four models are powered by a 293-hp, 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, the next five can be had with either this or an optional 360-hp 5.7L HEMI® V8 powertrain.

The Grand Cherokee SRT® and Trackhawk are the most powerful of the lot, packing a 6.2L SRT® HEMI® V8 under their hood. The 6.2L HEMI in the SRT® produces 475 hp, while the same is supercharged on the Trackhawk® to churn out a jaw-dropping 707 hoses and massive 645 pound-feet of torque.


2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Unlike the Grand Cherokee, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L comes in four models. These are the Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve. All four trims come with an all-wheel-drive system and are powered by a 290-hp producing 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine by default. However, if you want a more powerful engine, you can opt for the 5.7L HEMI® V8 on the Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve models.
