This is the debut year for the Gladiator, and it can already deliver best-in-class towing capability. What does that mean exactly? Well, with a properly equipped Gladiator, you can haul up to 3,470 kg or 7,650 pounds!

You get that capability with the Sport S trim. If you want to go up in trim, the truck gets a little heavier, so you lose out on a little capability in the towing department, but it is still plenty impressive. The middle Overland trim can tow up to 2,722 kg, or 6,000 pounds and the top Rubicon trim is even better than that with 3,175 kg or 7,000 pounds of towing capability.

What is the payload capacity of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator?
We’ve established that you can tow a lot, but what about payload capacity? We are not used to having a Wrangler with a legitimate full-size bed, and it would almost be understandable if the Gladiator had a modest payload capability, but it blows all expectations out of the water.
In total, the 2020 Gladiator can handle a payload of up to 726 kg or 1,600 pounds. What’s more, this payload capability comes standard on every Jeep Gladiator. The bed includes an available 115-volt power outlet, an available roll-up tonneau cover, and a standard three-position tailgate.
